Chancel Choir meets usually every Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel under the direction of Dianne Meyer, a public and private school music teacher. We sing in the 10:00 Sunday church services every Sunday, one or two numbers and lead the hymns. Dianne chooses exciting contemporary music, watching the balance of parts. We rehearse the music on Wednesdays, and Dianne makes sure we are comfortable with the rehearsal to sing in public. At Christmas and Easter we present special music and usually have extra singers join us. We are currently wearing red robes with reversible neck stoles to be changed for Communion and religious holidays. In the summer we take a hiatus with individuals singing solos or small groups. Come join this fun, intimate group if you can carry a tune. She also leads a high school choir P F Choir, and a children's choir Spirit Express that sings in church occasionally.
